Independent industry recognition highlights QCD Holdings’ commitment to customer service, technical integrity and professional standards across its automotive operations.
QCD Holdings is pleased to announce that QCD Autocentre Brackley has been named the Midlands regional winner of The Motor Ombudsman’s 2026 Star Awards, recognising exceptional customer care and a commitment to supporting motorists beyond the initial service provided.
The award was presented at a ceremony in London, held to mark The Motor Ombudsman’s tenth anniversary and celebrate businesses and individuals demonstrating outstanding customer service across the UK automotive industry.
This achievement represents an important milestone for QCD Autocentre and reflects the wider Group’s emphasis on professionalism, accountability and delivering consistently high standards of service.
Recognised for Exceptional Customer Support
QCD Autocentre's winning nomination followed its handling of a complex customer situation involving a serious vehicle transmission fault.
More than seven months after completing the original diagnosis, the team voluntarily provided a further written professional opinion and supporting diagnostic findings to assist the customer with an ongoing vehicle finance dispute.
The additional support demonstrated a willingness to apply technical expertise beyond the immediate workshop engagement, helping the customer access the information needed to progress their case.
The customer subsequently nominated QCD Autocentre for the award, recognising the professionalism and continued assistance they had received.
Independent Recognition of Industry Standards
Established in 2020, The Motor Ombudsman’s Star Awards recognise exceptional service delivered by accredited automotive businesses and their employees.
For the 2026 awards, just 30 entries were shortlisted across ten categories, with an industry judging panel selecting the winners following nominations submitted by customers.
QCD Autocentre was selected as the Midlands regional winner, placing the Brackley operation among eight regional award recipients recognised nationally.
For QCD Holdings, the distinction is particularly significant as it acknowledges the quality of the customer experience alongside the technical competence required to deliver dependable vehicle maintenance and repair services.
Building on QCD Holdings’ Commitment to Quality
The award follows a period of continued development across QCD Holdings, including investment in technical capabilities and the expansion of manufacturer-approved repair operations within the Group.
While manufacturer approvals recognise the systems, facilities and expertise required to meet defined repair standards, the Star Award provides a different form of validation: recognition from a customer for the support received when facing a challenging situation.
Together, these achievements reflect QCD Holdings’ approach to building automotive businesses where technical capability, professional integrity and customer confidence remain central to service delivery.
QCD Autocentre Brackley is now among the eight regional winners in contention for The Motor Ombudsman’s overall 2026 National Star Award, scheduled to be announced on 8 December 2026.
QCD Holdings congratulates the entire QCD Autocentre Brackley team on this achievement and extends its appreciation to the customer whose nomination made the recognition possible.
The Group remains committed to investing in its people, facilities and operating standards to support customers, fleet operators and automotive partners with reliable, professional repair and maintenance services.
